I just had the strangest occurrence. I've had an incredible time trying to get the side mirror cameras working on a consistent basis. It's about to go in for the 5th time since they keep going black.
Today I was backing into the driveway and every camera was out. I rolled my eyes and just went old school using my mirrors. No biggie; however when I was ready to park I decided to manually hit the camera button just to see if they come on. I wasn't prepared for what I saw. The cameras were like something out of a Max Headroom commercial.(I know the reference is showing how old I am) But the front camera looked like my back neighbor's driveway. I turned off the camera and back on again. It was much clearer and sure enough if was my neighbor even though I was facing my fence since my driveway curves into the garage.
It must have saved it from when I backed out of the driveway about an hour earlier. 1st time this has happened. Very strange. You can tell the image on the left of the screen is really jacked up. Guess they will have another gremlin to hunt down this week.

Is it possible that was the last image in memory before the camera glitch? As a software exec. I’d be pretty surprised if Ford was willing to spend the money for the storage it would cost for millions and millions of video segments of people backing up (let alone off-road video). What value do you think they can extract from that?
It’s more likely that the camera software has bugs and flashed whatever image it had.
I’ve been pretty disappointed in their overall software reliability, with the trail app connection with Sync 4 API’s as a prime example. Given the continuing issues and screen reboots still not fixed, this is a systemic software development process problem.

This wouldn't be the last image since I had been running around and parked several times. And there were no issues when I had backed up prior. But what's also weird about the 360 image is it shows me crooked in the alleyway.

That was my first thought - just something either stuck in memory or the softwares last image for some reason.
And holy hell, the Trail app was so bad. I'm frustrated they never got it working right. It was a feature I was really looking forward to.
I did the treasure hunt last year to great disappointment.

My 1 minute of research says there are a LOT more people of Latino descent in Texas than Arizona, so Mexican food in TX may have the edge. Tons of science going on here.

Bronco trail app is shite. I went with OnX. Either OnX or Gaia is the way to go. I deleted Bronco Trail app my first day in Moab. Horrible.

I would actually pay for an add on module that would act as a "DVR" for the cameras on the bronco and put me in control of the video recordings. The ultimate Dash Cam.

I came for the 360 Cameras, and I stayed for the Mexican Food debate.

All I know is that I'm BigMex, in Ohio...
...and I'd give my left avocado for Mexican food from either Arizona or Texas any day of the week.

I'm a big fan of the RGV and San Antonio. Fam in Dallas and Phoenix. Did Austin Off-Roadeo three years ago.

I’ve never heard a good definition of each that differentiates them. Help a gringo out here…
