Seriously though. Didn't ford patent something like this. It wasn't for 360 degree cameras though.

I remember in 2005 I had one of the first cars that did a blinker three times if you just tapped the indicator.

I’d flick the blinker so fast that people wouldn’t see me do it. I’d also be sure to move my hand away from the indicator so by the time the person looked over to watch me indicate lane changes my hand would be no where near the indicator switch. People would often wonder how the car knows I’m changing lanes. I would just say “it’s magic” and nobody would ever follow up with a question.

I told my kids that a series of large mirrors deploy from the roof every time I switch the camera on. The first time I told them, they jumped out of the car (while stationary) to check. Hilarious!
