Is the Bronco too bulky?

I feel like this Bronco will swallow anything less than 33s. Outside of BL or WT, anything non-sasquatched looks silly, IMO.

Welcome to B6G as i see your new around here. This has been discussed ad nauseum in these forums. Yeah, everyone says the 4 door needs 35s minimum to look right, others don't care and will just upgrade later, but you are in the majority.

Topless has a way of making it worse. Stock tires with a top isn't so bad. I think the fender flares are the complicating factor with the smaller wheels. A delete kit probably will help.

First of all, you're looking at a 4-door. So your perception is automatically going to be skewed because of the vehicle size versus tire size proportion. A little more obvious on a 4-door and a little less obvious on a 2-door.
Secondly, I believe Ford was more interested in taking into account the older Broncos, and not copying a Jeep. So they went a little bigger than the Jeep.
The Bronc wheelbase will only be about 4" longer than my Sahara, but about 18" longer overall. And of course it will be a little taller and wider as well, but very proportional. These are pluses in my book, without getting into 'bulky' territory.
"Bulky" to me were the Broncs of the '80s or '90s. The new Bronco goes in the opposite direction in my opinion.

Not entirely correct here. The 2 door Bronco wheel base is 100.4” and 2 door Jeep is 96.8” so yes there is a 4” wheel base difference but the overall length of a 2 door Bronco is 174” and a 2 door Jeep is 166” so it’s only an 8” overall difference on length, not 18”.

The 4 door dimensions are even closer, see below:

My wheelbase is 95.4" (5" shorter than Bronc) and length is 164.3" (9.4" shorter than Bronc). Probably didn't take spare tire into account.

Obviously this is subjective, an opinion. Many people state their opinion as fact. I like the 4dr, I like the 2 dr. For my personal tastes, the 265/70/17 on the 4dr BD, in person, is just a little too small to be pleasing to my eye. I believe it will prove to be very functional and for most, it will provide a great mix of capability and versatility. I decided to go with the BL and 33's. Partially for the tires and "look" bit mostly for the HD front axle, locker and "future proofing" the Bronco for any use or modifications I could envision in the future. I like the look of the 33s and 35s, but in my experience, the trade off for unsprung weight and cost didn't make sense. From a looks standpoint, the 35's give it a pretty aggressive stance and I would be OK with it as my own, but not so much as to offset what I see as "negatives" of the larger tire. The actual driving experience with the 35s, even with the 2.3l was pretty amazing, so the trade off's have been engineered out to a pretty awesome extent. I think it will push the boundaries of size on some of the narrower two tracks and trails I will explore, hopefully they made it for goldilocks......just right!

True. That was one of the first thing I had to find out before I ordered. My garage was built in 1929, so you can guess why the concern. I just put up an connected expansion to get my Jeep and Ranger under cover and it's the same width. Looks like I'll have to push the side mirrors in on the Bronco, and Ranger to get them in comfortably. Oh the first world problems I have to live through.

But will the new Bronco have a tighter turning radius? Probably yes, just like the EB's did plus we have trail turn assist on the 2.7l.

I wonder how the vehicle sizes compare if you don't include the spare? The Bronco tire in these diagrams appear to be the 35s and appears to be much larger than the spare on the Wrangler and Defender.
