Interesting Reason for a Body Lift: Clearance For Spare Tire Mount w/ 37's

Ever think about getting your tires Trued , then balanced ? you would be surprised how well that works .

I've not heard of this process. Can you explain please?

they will have your tires mounted . then they true them on a machine , by cutting away the rubber to make sure the tires are Round . Kinda crazy to watch for the first time , but boy does it make a difference . You will end up with less wheel weights to balance your tire , and end up with a much better ride quality.

Geez. For the price of these tires you'd think that would get done at the factory.

I feel the shop I chose is reputable. They told us they were "taking a lot of weight," and instead use balance beads. Problem is at 25 mph the steering wheel will actually wiggle a bit. It balances a bit at higher speeds but still shakes pretty good. Still get a Different shop?

Tire vibration can be caused by more than balance. There is road force variation, where some sections of the tire are stiffer in the sidewall than others. The only cure for that is a different tire. There are also radial and lateral runout. Again, a new tire is really the only cure. Larger and higher load rated tires have these problems more than smaller lighter tires. Whoever is balancing the tires needs a machine that measures for those conditions.

Can’t tell if you’ve resolved the spare tire spacing issue but I have a leftover (gently used) RTR spacer that moves your carrier up and out slightly if you’d like it.

37s on my SAS wheels with those same great tires! 🫡

I added the 2.5in RC lift to my 21 Wildtrak.

So all you did was the lift and you were good to go for the 37s? Rides just as good before the lift and tires? Cause when I need new tires I want to go to 37s and want the easiest way to that lol

Body lift is one way to solve that. We used Anvil Offroad tailgate support which lifts the rear tire up and pushes it out slightly as well. Killed two birds with one stone.......as did you. lol

Here is what I did to make the 37s fit:

Start with a Sasquatch Bronco
Add the following:
BroncBuster 1.5" perch collars
1/2" Body Lift (tires fit fine without this)
JKS Max Tire Clearance Kit
37" Cooper STT Pros

That's it!

1/2" body lift isn't required, I just used it for a low buck way to make the spare fit.... And get some height. Did you see the pic of the front bumper? It's really not bad at all.

Your right yours isn't bad at all, I guess I have just seen some where the gap is huge

Agreed, they look terrible that way in my opinion.

Question for you on the JKS max tire kit. I am only rubbing on bumps/dips at full turn on the driver side rear fender liner with that plastic block behind it. I have read that the max tire kit comes with something that fixes that somehow but pix of the product only show that front piece with the body mount area? I don't rub at all in the front, just need to fix the back side. Do you have a pic of what it is for the back of the fender area? TIA!
