I am looking to lease a Bronco or something similar. When I am leasing can't I just total the amount I will be paying per month times the term plus fees and cap cost? This way I can see how much I will be paying over the life of the lease and compare that to other offers. I need help understanding why consider money factor if it is already built into the price?

Leasing uses a built in interest rate typically higher than on a loan. aka, if you could buy, you would, and since you can't, we're going to hit you harder....ask them what that rate is.

4Xe was welling really well. Key word "was". That is until Jeep issued a recall on 100% of them and told customers "do not charge, do not park indoors"

Coworker has one. It's been months and Jeep still doesn't have a fix.
I wonder if not having a fix in sight is why this “accident” happened.

Yes, I see what you’re saying. But as the money factor goes higher, my payment goes higher so they are directly correlated.

Insane.

Also the GX 460 (Actual LC Prado) is superior to the 4R and is a great used buy.

I miss mine.
The GX is a hidden gem. I have a lifted GX 470 and we will never get rid of it.

Bought my daughter a 2008 GX 470 two years ago for her college car with 165k on the clock. We lifted it 2” on Dobinson. Is a beast.

… back to subject on hand… Is there such a thing as too many options? I’m a car guy and found the many trims/options a little overwhelming. Could this be keeping the average buyer for making the purchase???
