Interesting Assembly line marking on frame, any ideas?

Just bought a 2024 raptor and discovered a message on the passenger side frame “Last Resort” hand written with a paint pen like you would see on old firewall or differential markings. Curious if anyone has seen anything like this thanks.

I know, I saw it before I bought it when I crawled under. The only reference I could find on google was an episode of the old bronco tv series titled last resort. I guess a line worker having fun?

It was obviously written when that piece was a part, not yet assembled on the truck.

I believe the frames come to the plant delivered intact and ready for further sssembly but I could be wrong

Inspection guy was saying to use that frame for assembly only as a last resort--if there were no other frames to be found. Must have been right at the pass/fail rejection point.

Maybe. I work in IT and when coding sometimes include famous quotes or other nonsense comments mixed in with the logic. A few other coders do as well, adds some levity.

This is my guess. They had different batches and marked the last one of some batch.

Oh that is too cool! It could be that they were sorting frames at the plant but still a cool piece of your trucks build journey. Pretty unique!
