Installed mine tonight (3/3/23) .... I am not overwhelmed by the amount of light it puts out ..... its better than what Ford put out but nowhere near what i expected .... I expected more out of 3 LED strips!
Thanks for the review. Just received an update that my 2/25 order should be delivered tomorrow. I may hold off on installing until there's more feedback from this latest round.

Installed the Mabbett back seat/cargo area light yesterday. My photos make it look brighter than it actually is, but it's MUCH better than the factory light.
IAG probably a better all around lighting solution but not a 5-minute plug & play install.

I have the Mabett rear cargo light, solid piece, great fit, easy install, good lighting. I also have there foot well lighting kit also a solid thumbs up. easy install panels fit great. I have all this coupled with the IAG interior light kit, all great products. That interior is so bright now I can see the future.

I installed mine today and ran into a couple problems. @Mabett can you help?
1.) Wire harness connector doesn’t clip in. It pushes in pretty snug, but doesn’t “click” like the OEM one.
2.) Mine is very loose. It’s only held in by the two metal clips. The provided sticky tape isn’t thick enough to adhere to the roll bar trim. It looks fine, but as soon as you touch it it’s pretty loose and will likely rattle off-road. I’m afraid if I pull it back down to add my own thicker sticky tape, it will likely break or bend the clips just like when removing the OEM light.
Anyone else with these issues and how did you resolve? Thank you.

I didn't have any problems with the plug clicking, but I had posted about how they're sticky tape is too thin and doesn't even touch the trim.
They're light popped back out much easier than the factory light (aka I was able to do it without bending anything) So I added three strips of double back foam tape and then put it back in and now it's a snug as could be.
And I use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface both times.

Thanks for the tips. Pulling it back down and adding some more sticky tape seems easy enough. I wonder why my connector doesn’t clip in. I spent a decent amount of time trying to get it to clip in and compared the OEM connector to the Mabett connector and didn’t see any differences. Guess I’ll have to investigate again when I pull it back down to add more tape.

For those interested with similar issues, I fixed my problems. I pulled down the Mabett light (which in my opinion was just as difficult as Removing the OEM light). I added 4 thicker and wider strips of double-sided 3M tape. I also gave it hell to get my wire harness connector seated / “clicked” in all the way. I found my Mabett wire connector had just a tad too much plastic so had to really leverage it in with a screw driver as opposed to just a push & click. But finally got it to click in. Then I pushed it back up in the hole and it secured in very nicely now with the clips and 3M tape. Very secure now and I can finally say I’m happy with it. Just a bit more QC with Mabett on this one and it would have been flawless and saved me a boatload of time.

I pulled it back out, relocated the gray adhesive strips to outside the indentions, and then stuck on three cut strips of thicker double sided tape in the indentions. I used whatever double sided foam tape I had lying around. After all that it seems to hold and I don't think I hear any rattles...

@Mabett I am having the same issue as mentioned above, I cannot get the connector to click into place no matter how hard I try and what angle/coaxing. Do you have any suggestions? Otherwise I may initiate return through Amazon. Looks like you've been very responsive and supportive through here so I thought i'd see what your thoughts were prior to going through amazon. Thanks
