i dont see an APIM in that one and i do believe you'll need to purchase one of those as well. the infotainment kit is complete,
That’s what I saw too. Dunno what those run… plus programming.

For those that want it cheaper, do some of the work yourself...

screens are $500-750 used and you can get the APIM for even cheaper...

I can’t justify $2600 for the upgrade.

Has anyone tried this or heard of this kit? $1000 I can live with. But I don’t think it comes with programming.

Well I ordered this partial kit. With the discount code it came to $800. That I can live with. Now I need to get the actual APIM (looks to be $200 -400) and then program it. The later being the part I am still completely unsure about.

I have come up empty and thus have not done the swap and cancelled my order for the other parts...

There is no REASONABLY priced solution to a correctly programmed APIM for the 12" swap? I sure have not found one that is not over $1,000 for just the programmed part.

I got mine from fordsync4.com. They aren't the greatest for support or fast delivery. I talked with the guy on the f150 forums, but you pay more for better quality support. https://infotainment.com/shop/inter...ade-with-wireless-apple-carplay-android-auto/
I did see that one. I am going to try and piece it together "al la carte" first and see how that goes. Can't stomach spending $2k on a kit... we'll see how much the parts end up being, might be close to that anyways lol
