How do you reset the BMS system on these Broncos? I used to be warned 30 minutes before it was time to pull over to poop. Now I don't get warned until after its too late! Where is the sensor for this system? Hopefully its just a software fix.

Did this on mine, worked after I put in a new battery (copy paste from another site)

The "High Beam & Brake" Manual Reset
This method recalibrates the system to recognize a new battery or a full charge state.

  1. Get in and Close the Doors: Sit in the driver's seat and ensure all doors are fully closed.
  2. Turn Ignition to ON: Press the Start button without your foot on the brake. You want the electronics on, but the engine should not be running.

  3. Flash High Beams (5x): Pull the high-beam stalk toward you (flash-to-pass) 5 times quickly.

  4. Press Brake Pedal (3x): Immediately after the 5th flash, press and release the brake pedal 3 times.
  5. Wait for the Confirmation: Within about 10 seconds, look at the battery icon on your instrument cluster. It should flash 3 to 10 times.
    • Note: If the battery light doesn't flash, the sequence didn't "take." Cycle the ignition off and try again, ensuring you do the steps in one fluid motion.
