How many windshields (including replacements) have you gone through?

Got a chip first few weeks. Installed this and zero in last 2+ years....and a lot less bugs. Gloss black on black bronco most don't even notice it until I point it out.

Looks great. I’ve got shadow black as well. Did you paint this to match or buy it that way?

Had it for 26 months, 28k mostly highway miles. Still on the original, no cracks, no chips.

Purchased it that way. I think it was IAG. It was 2+ years ago but look for a gloss black with the raised bump in it and it is awesome. Comes with 3m tape so just alcohol wipe and stick it on and done. One of the easiest and best mods. I would drive across WA and have to stop every few hrs at a gas station to scrape bugs but not anymore.

Just the one so far, but it was seemingly unavoidable. It held up really well too, considering the circumstances.

I don’t think anyone can help it when a golf ball size rock comes off a mountain and hits your windshield man but sure we all follow to closely

I need my 3rd. First one broke during recall work and the 2nd one got hit by a massive rock from oncoming traffic. Hit in the bottom left corner right on the BRONCO logo. Next morning it frosted and I watched it in slow motion crack all the way across to the passenger side.

Still on the factory glass! I just went through a bad storm and had hail damage to my hood but it didn’t break the windsheild. I had the hood fixed by a great paint less dent repair company. It looks brand newagain.

Wish me luck, my first replacement glass gets swapped out next week. Hoping to make it through summer trail use before I store Bronco away for hibernation this winter.

Wife was driving our Wildtrak with bug deflector and took a rock at the top of the windshield. Next morning the chip turned into a footlong crack.

Our Raptor, no deflector, took a hit right in front of me as I was driving on the highway. I actually saw the rock coming and the angle showed it came from across the divider. I'd only had the Raptor for a couple of weeks.

Used a Permatex windshield repair kit on it. It's been good for a couple of months and I'm hoping it holds.

Mine currently has a crack. I didn’t do the windshield coverage on my insurance, so I either need to pay out of pocket or a comprehensive deductible.

Has anyone gone with the Safelite replacement vs OEM? I know it wouldn’t have the QR code and other badges, but I’ve had issues with every Ford windshield I’ve ever owned and the non OEM from Safelite always holds up better.

Staying 2 seconds behind the vehicle in front of you substantially reduces the chance of your windshield breaking... nothing you can do to eliminate the risk in every situation.
