Currently haven’t my back hard top sitting on my garage floor and am looking for a better solution so my wife can park inside again.

Hanging from ratchet straps from the garage ceiling. Two front hooks go in the front mount, back hooks attach to a 2x4 and the rear of the top rests on that.

Sitting on my backyard lawn. Don't do that - unless you like spiders, slugs and various critters messing with the top.
^^^ What I do also. I store mine with all modular pieces in bags and is tucked neatly in a corner of my barn. But if I needed to store it in front of the Bronco in the garage, the things designed exactly for that. Been happy with it so far.

Use the Lange Originals Hardtop cart. Better than storing on the floor since the plastic alignment pins can break or resting on the pins can put weird stresses on the top.

Same here. But I’m using 2x4s. Love this setup though. Looks awesome with the aluminumHanging from the ceiling.
Diy hoist using this video as a starting point.
I didn't like weight of the top resting on just the hooks so I made an aluminum frame that the top sits on and has holes for the guide pins.
Also went with a harbor freight electric hoist instead of the rope hoist in the video.
