How do I unlock this piece?

I am camping and wanted to leave my tailgate open, but the mirror lights would stay on for a long time. I tried to lock this on my tailgate - which worked for the lights, but now I can’t unlock it.

im ready for bed but want to lock my tailgate up, please help!

Just pull the handle like you are opening the door and use a screw driver or something and pull the clasp back to the open position

Inspired Overland carbon fiber RTT. Just woke up from night 2 of a 3 week trip with it. Great so far. Got caught in a storm last night and it held up and stayed dry inside.

Love the RTT - got any more photos of it on your rig? potentially one showing what it looks like on the vehicle with it closed?

This RTT is the third item on my upcoming big purchases list - seeing them at MOORE '24 made my wallet ache prematurely
