Hello, all. I recently purchased the Gravity Titan 50” 8-light light bar. I’ve installed a couple other lights on my Bronco, but this is the first time I’ve installed a roof-mounted light bar.
I’ve watched a few videos on installing it, but still have some questions.
1. Is the wiring on the aux switches actually safe for this light bar? It seems like a lot of amperage. Just want confirmation from some people that I’m not going to set my car on fire, or how to avoid it. I know I’m going to have to use the relay KC provides but I’m specifically wondering about when the wires are joined together. Sorry, y’all—I don’t know a whole lot about electric stuff. My degree is in opera, lol.
2. How in the world am I going to wire it through the windshield to get down to the engine bay where the aux wires are? I know there’s a hole near the roof mount point, but I’m not sure how it’s supposed to get through the dash to the engine bay once it goes down the hole. Also, will I need some wire hider if it’s going that route?
Thanks, y’all. I’m learning all sorts of stuff about my Bronco and how to work on my own cars, but I’m still a little behind.
