Hidden winch and capable bumper

I just installed the rough county hidden winch on my v6 Bronco with the capable bumper. 0 problems and didn’t have to force anything or cut anything to make it fit. I didn’t even need the included spacers. Did I miss something or why does Rough Country say it won’t work on Broncos with the capable bumper?

I was all ready to pull the trigger, and they told me the same thang.
Legal troubles? I dunno.
Seemed like the perfect $$$/capability solution to me.

Do you have a side profile view? How much did this effect the approach angle? I'm trying to decide whether to go this route or try and buy a used modular bumper + Rough Country High Winch Mount. I'd like to keep the winch as high as possible.

It’s missing, the one that came with the winch didn’t fit, and RC didn’t provide one with the kit

I think it’s sticks out more than stock, I wanted todo a Lobo hidden winch kit, but my budget was tight before the trip I’m taking this month. When this one breaks or the paint starts to fail I’ll be sure to go with the lobo.

I installed the RC eBay knock-off and it went on my 23 2.3 Black Diamond without any issues. I love it.
