Hello, this is my first post and I'm hoping to get some guidance from the Bronco Community on this.

I have a 2 door 2023 Wildtrak that I am starting to carefully modify. It is used as a fun daily driver but I also want to optimize it for occasional off roading in the sand dunes and various trails. Going to Moab with it for the first time this year but do not plan to do anything too crazy.

It seems like the the stock front sway bar is a limiting factor on the Wildtrak when it comes to off road articulation and comfort.
I want to maintain a great ride on road and avoid the liability of completely removing the front swaybar and I also don't want to mess with manually disconnecting it at the trails. I also want to avoid adding much weight and complexity. Currently the only real mod I have is aluminum rock sliders/steps and I plan to also add some additional lightweight skid plates to vulnerable areas and eventually some power mods/tuning etc.

From my research thus far I see 3 good options:
-Adding the factory disconnecting sway bar and wiring it to the upfitter switches. Seems to be the best of both worlds but adds some weight and complexity. How common is failure with these??
-Rockjock- seems to be a great option but it seems like it may rub on the Sasquatch tires which is my only hesitation and I don't plan to mess with swapping wheels or altering the suspension geometry in the near future.
-Carli sway bar- seems like this is simple, high quality and avoids the rubbing issue- I read some concerns however about how this design will hold up with corrosion (live in the midwest) and it also seems quite expensive for what it is.

Please let me know your thoughts and what you would recommend for these or other options. I could also just leave it as is but that seems boring and this seems to be an easy off road improvement.

Thanks in advance!!!

Fourth option: Boss 4x4 sway bar links. This is what I would try first. I think the RockJock has a rubbing problem w/Sas.

I had those for a minute and they did help gain articulation and also improved the ride, but ultimately deleted the front swaybar entirely. Running a rockjock on the rear and you notice it a bit with 40” tires, coilovers, and portals. Pulled front swaybar on second wildtrak with 17 miles on the odometer. With the factory rear swaybar still on I barely notice a difference on a stock wildtrak.

I actually went with the Carli torsion bar and is dialed in with my king shocks. is a lot more stable off-road - I don't pick up a tire as easily as I used to. also handles on road better as well. I know it's a bit pricey but it is well engineered and I have had no issues so far related to corrosion and I live in the NE with plenty of ice, snow and salt on the roads all winter.

Yeah, that is an option I started to mention but the op doesn't seem to be going to extremes. You've got the four link/big tires/portals and a lot of other big updates, are you suggesting deleting the front sway bar and stock rear sway bar on otherwise stock shouldn't be that noticeable? 🤔

Yeah-Delete front, keep the factory rear. I would be interested to know what the rear rockjock only is like on a stock rig though

That would be the cheapest; just disconnect and drive it around for a few weeks to see how you feel.

Same here - I finally off roaded with mine on - crawling up and down rock ledges. I find a better ride around town, and no issues articulating in the wild vs me manual disconnecting as previously. 4 door though.

I am looking at a torsion bar setup as well (also Sasquatch) which has me looking at Rock Jock and Carli. I talked to reps at both, and Rock Jock says they only noticed slight rubbing on the driver's side aluminum washer on the arm attachment. Carli states no fitment issues.

Been Diving around with my front disconnected for aver a year now, really dont notice it. The only place I think you might notice is in an emergency maneuver on the highway or something. More flex off road as well.

IMHO, front sway bars are like seatbelts. You don't need them. Hell, you may NEVER need them. Until you do. And if/when you do, they can save your life.

At least understand the risk (for you and your passengers) before deciding to delete. After that, it's your choice.

Appreciate all the suggestions so far!
Boss links look like a simple solution to consider and just removing the front altogether while keeping the rear sounds like it works out well for the right price...just hesitating with the idea of it. On the other hand, it's easy to put back on as well so may give that a try to see how it feels before trying something else.

The sway bar is way too stiff so I imagine the Carli and Rock Jock are big improvements BUT I would do the BOSS links again for how I use my Bronco. It’s one of the most noticeable and appreciated mods I have done.
