My dad saved the floor mats from his 77 Bronco and gave them to me when I visited.

any suggestions on products to restore the colors?

I'm sure you realize what a treasure you were gifted. They can fetch a pretty penny when they become available.

Not sure there is any recourse to restore the colors. IMO, the patina of the faded colors add character and bear witness to the years of adventure.

@HoosierDaddy might have a suggestion, though.

Well, this defines " Old School Cool " !!!

It might be nice to clean them up a bit, but the patina is kind of cool as well.

I don't have any top secret tips for cleaning them, but ...
For the love of all things holy, keep crap like "Armor-All" the hell away from them.
Aerospace 303 is your friend.

The general idea is, since you don't want to damage them, start very mildly and see what works and slowly step it up from there.
mild cleaners
mild physical abrasion

First places I'd research and ask are detailing/restoration forums such as autopia and autogeek.
https://www.autopia.org/
https://autogeekonline.net/

At most, I'd scrub/rub the colors with a wet towel wrapped around your finger tip , using a soap/detergent of some type.
Maybe ...maybe ... a soft bristled tooth brush.
Research for a proper soap/detergent for that rubber. I don't know if dish soap or laundry detergents would be too harsh.

Hopefully other users here have better answers, but this will get you pointed in the right direction.

Now I'm curious if the old "Yosemite Sam" rubber floor mats from mine are still in the garage somewhere. LOL!
