Need help with OEM part number discontinued.

Happy new year !

I have a 2022 2 door Badlands with the LUX package and I have damaged my passenger side mirror bezel ( I can have my moments ). I have been trying to come up with a part number for the bezel with no luck. I have found the mirror assembly part number of M2DZ-17682-C which I think is the correct p/n but everywhere I look for the part it comes up as discontinued with no suggestion for the replacement p/n. I have found M2DZ-17683-ENPTM but shows applicable to 2023 and up. Does anyone know if this will work or have the new replacement number? Also is there just a p/n for the bezel ? Thank you in advance for your help.

The bezel isn't sold separately.

"PTM" usually means "paint to match". Ford doesn't sell painted parts, so they will send out parts that are ready to be painted by the body shop. But in this case... that part doesn't get painted anyway. Only the rear cap gets painted. So no idea why they have it labeled as a paint-to-match part.

I would check with resellers of PTM OEM components first. Places like BFN Truckshop offers the mirror caps painted. They are using OEM parts so the entire assembly is being ordered. They either have a buyer for the unused components or they are just tossing them in the trash.

You mean this piece ? Then yes you need a mirror assembly.

This piece is available by itself so no need to buy a whole assm for it.
