I’ve got a line in on a 2021 (went in to service November of 2021) Bronco. I don’t know all the acronyms yet so I’ll spell it all out.

It’s Area 51 blue with black leather. It’s a Badlands + Sasquatch package with Lux, tow package, 2.7 with auto trans…it literally has every option except the hard top. 5,800 miles.

I can get it for $59k. Seems like a good deal, but really wish it had a hard top. Should I jump on it or keep looking for something with a hard top?

As long as it is in good shape, that seems to be a pretty solid deal. That's is my exact spec +leather and I don't think I would sell mine back to a dealer for $59K, let alone expect to be able to buy one for that.

I wouldn’t and you shouldn’t either, you answered your question when you said you wish it had a hard top. And, that’s high for a ‘21 in my opinion.

Thats a good deal, especially for under 6k miles. An equivalent MY23 with the options you listed (Squatch, 2.7, auto, lux, leather, bumper) stickers for $63.8k + destination which is now at $1795! And you don't have to wait 6months+ to get it.

Also, the savings from not buying a '23 will pay for an aftermarket hardtop should you not find the soft top acceptable. However, once you get to cruising around the desert and can go topless in seconds I don't think you will regret not having a hardtop.

Hardtops sell for $6000-7000, soft tops for around $1000

Yeah, it looks like MSRP on this same build in a MY23 is $66,630. But are there dealers selling at MSRP? Part of me thinks for <6,000 miles saving almost $8k is a no-brainer. But then the other part of me says it's 2 model years old and getting a 2 year newer car for $8k is a no-brainer. LOL.

I wouldn't. If my 23 WT with Lux & leather gets built it will be $2k less than that. In 2021 that one likely had an MSRP right around $56k. 2 years later with 6000 miles they want $59k. If you can wait, I would wait.

I can wait. What I can't find is a way to buy a new one. He has the window sticker for this car. I don't remember the exact amount but MSRP was over $60k.

To each their own. I think if you bought, it wouldn’t matter anymore. Just so much fun! Seems like a good price to me and 6k miles is nothing. Still all factory warranty

Check the mechanical history if possible. Was it a problem child?

Hasn't had any warranty work done or anything. Just oil changes.

In 2021 the 2.7 had a dropped valve problem the fell within a certain production number. There's a thread here on that, I'd check if it fell into that group.
