Guy has done 2. Did the first one after 60 days and did the second one a year later. He's just very particular about his cars.Changes plural? 1st old change isn't even due yet on a 6000 mile vehicle.
Yea I’d not buy anything pre 2023 and get a hoss 3.0 plus hard top. I’d wait till prices come down and even order one. 59 is laughable imo. Wildtrak 23 all in was 62 with a slight markup.I’ve got a line in on a 2021 (went in to service November of 2021) Bronco. I don’t know all the acronyms yet so I’ll spell it all out.
It’s Area 51 blue with black leather. It’s a Badlands + Sasquatch package with Lux, tow package, 2.7 with auto trans…it literally has every option except the hard top. 5,800 miles.
I can get it for $59k. Seems like a good deal, but really wish it had a hard top. Should I jump on it or keep looking for something with a hard top?
I don't have one on order.Tough one, in a normal world I think that would be a bit high compared to sticker for a 2 year old used vehicle. But these days, who knows - Have of those options are constrained so you can't even order one like it. I would say that if it EXACTLY what you want, then go for it, but if not it might be better to wait.
Do you have one on order and if so, what is the status?
It was built and sold in November. It's cost new was over $60k.If it's a 2021 with a 2.7 unless it was built towards the end of the model year I would skip it. It's also above what it cost when it was new and thought not a horrible deal I've seen better. I personally would wait a bit.
That puts it right in the middle of the V6s that dropped valves. I'm not saying not to do it, but rather to do some research on that subject. Find out if the engine was in the bad batch, and then make your decision based on your driving. If the engine is in the bad batch, I might buy it if it were a play vehicle only but I wouldn't pay more than $50K.It was built and sold in November. It's cost new was over $60k.
What's a Hoss 3.0 plus? Forgive me as I'm getting back up to speed after 20+ years outside of the Bronco world.Yea I’d not buy anything pre 2023 and get a hoss 3.0 plus hard top. I’d wait till prices come down and even order one. 59 is laughable imo. Wildtrak 23 all in was 62 with a slight markup.
You aren't far off. It would have a sticker for around $57,500 all in 2021. I would wait on the '23 since the 2021 year was semi-rushed and almost consider it a preproduction year getting the bugs worked out. Paying over the original MSRP for a first-year Ford anything is a No-go for me. If it were an FE, maybe, but not this.I wouldn't. If my 23 WT with Lux & leather gets built it will be $2k less than that. In 2021 that one likely had an MSRP right around $56k. 2 years later with 6000 miles they want $59k. If you can wait, I would wait.
Thanks for the heads up on that. Is this not something that is warranteed? That puts it right in the middle of the V6s that dropped valves.
