Do some headrests really not tilt? And I thought Ford was cheap because they don’t make the garage door opener on the visor standard.

Went to a meet the bronco event forever ago and was told a car had MGV and it had the tilting headrests. When in reality the MGV broncos do not

The folks in the Mustang forums have taken to fixing the issue with a hydraulic pipe bender.

This is often a huge pet peeve of mine with vehicles but I’ve test driven 3 times and don’t remember it feeling uncomfortable in the Bronco. Hoping that’s still the case when I get mine. I was always told it’s because it’s a head restraint - not a headrest. If it’s not comfortable, it’s a poor design.

Yes, they are designed to push your head down and into your chest in a crash which stabilizes and protects your spinal column.

It’s pretty much perfect on mine (MGV). I do wish it was adjustable like many of the Ford headrests are but it’s not badly set up to me. I can see it being an issue with a very straight up back setting but with a 75° or so seat position it is perfect for me. Full contact from my lower back to my shoulders and I can rest my head back and it almost feels like my head is floating. I’ve actually sat in my Bronco just to relax my neck before.

That’s pretty sad that tilting headrests aren’t standard. My work vehicle is a base transit connect and it has them.

Mine is also too far forward. It’s one of the things I don’t like about the bronco. I turned it around till I can take it apart and bend the rods at a better angle.

I have MGV (BL, Lux) and my headrest is also forward (though not uncomfortably so) and unadjustable. I remember another guy months ago hd a similar issue and that headrest was definitely messed up — got it replaced by the dealer I think.

It’s the middle of the seat I find uncomfortable — the bump near the top makes the seat uneven and it presses into my back below my shoulders.

I feel like a true caveman Sasquatch when I drive mine, my head feels pushed forward like a Neanderthal!!!

My other vehicles are NOT like this, im gonna try flipping them around like someone mentioned.
