I had contemplated removing the massive muffler and build a mount of some sort. I haven’t thought it all the way through yet. I did pick up a muffler eliminator.Where are you putting your harbor freight offroad jack? This thing is massive
NOT where you're s'pose to lift with the factory jack...On board scissor jack works just fine![]()
Dang that looks sketchy AF. At least carry a small 2x6 to put underneath the jack so you have a more stable base. You may also want to review the owners manual for proper jack placement. On board scissor jack works just fine![]()
It was solid, but already have added a block of wood to the boxDang that looks sketchy AF. At least carry a small 2x6 to put underneath the jack so you have a more stable base. You may also want to review the owners manual for proper jack placement.
Back on topic, I think most people just throw the BL jack in the cargo hold and don't permanently mount the thing.
I saw that. Hoping for more idea
I lift vehicles by the axle whenever possible or the swing arm . If you raise by the body you first have to fully extend the suspension before wheels lose contact with ground meaning a jack with at least 2 ' longer lift.NOT where you're s'pose to lift with the factory jack...
And if youre not on perfectly level ground...?
