The 3 lights in the pick up grille started with the Raptor and are an ICC regulation for vehicles over 80 inches.

Hence Braptor/ Raptors that are over 80" wide. (not including mirrors)
I get that part because it’s a requirement. But why add them to a regular Bronco when they aren’t a requirement?

Where did you get this grille? It’s exactly what I’m looking for.
That's the OEM grille, actually. I bought a kit on Etsy made by Vasher Design. Basically, remove the grille, gently drill out the plastic rivets on the original letters to remove, and use the provided hardware (also has adhesive tape on it) to attach new letters and blank panels.

It's just a look, Raptors have to have it, regular Bronco's don't legally need them. I call them fat-boy lights and will not ever put them on mine.

I meant the grille letters, I have a Badlands and the same grille. Love the font, looks really good. I’ll check out Etsy, thanks!!

Some people want to make others think they own a Raptor version.

They do pop in the rear-view mirror. I generally like the way they look, but like any fad it can be overdone.

I would consider some marker lights but more for blizzards and staying visible.

Chevrolet and Toyota also copied the Raptor grille style, and have the 3 lights. It’s a fad now apparently.
I put a Raptor style grill on my ‘03 Excursion just to update it looks, but haven’t bothered to hook up the 3 clearance lights.

This brings up a question I had on the grills. If you did want the large FORD lettering like is on the raptor grill as an example. Does the raptor grill fit a regular Bronco?

Plenty of pics out there so I'd say yes they fit.

Some grilles 'say' BRONCO, some FORD depending on the trim, other people customize their lettering.

Personally, I love the BRONCO grille, I just think it looks cool, to the point where If I had a trim that said FORD , I'd want it swapped out ASAP.

So vote your preference, give your opinions, show us your grilles, especially custom grilles.

Edited because Grills are not Grilles
I'm good with BRONCO and FORD. It depends on the grille. I have the Heritage grille with red FORD letters. I like that retro look. But the Badlands OEM grille was nice, too.

Same here. Adding grille lights and tinting the lenses of headlight or taillights etc are my most disliked modifications. But everyone has their own taste and style.
