This brings up a question I had on the grills. If you did want the large FORD lettering like is on the raptor grill as an example. Does the raptor grill fit a regular Bronco?
Just get the following for your Squatch conversion:
Badlands or Wildtrack takeoff front and rear struts Shocks springs, Bilstein's or Fox. $400 - $800
While changing those out add a front 1" leveling kit. $70
Realign. $100
Add Sasquatch wider fender flares. $100-$200 for take offs.
Add 35"...
From your original question...
I did the same thing you were thinking about. Since you are going to do more rock crawling and off-roading than high speed Baja type driving I would go with the following:
2024 Badlands, that way you get the newer style stitched interior along with the improved...
When I purchased my 23 it didn't have the tow option. I purchased all the necessary parts from Ford and installed it myself. There was wiring that had to be installed in the driver rear interior quarter as well as wiring had to be ran the full length of the vehicle and was plugged in up in the...
I went with the 6-in rigid round lights for my a pillar pods. I originally had 4-in ones there but liked the brightness of the 6-inch ones better and swapped them out. I bought everything from John at specialty performance parts. They're wiring harnesses and everything made everything plug and...
I did it twice, no problem.
First time after purchasing a 22 badlands.
Second time after purchasing a 23 badlands.
First driver received the purchase credit. Second driver/passenger we had to pay for. The second time through was more money. Just due to the inflation. Nothing around $2,000...
Looks great!
Much better!
When you say it feels safer now, how did it feel before that felt unsafe?
Just curious. How did you get the picture of your vehicle coming off the assembly line?
I'm 170 miles short of 250,000 in my 2015 2.3 mustang. The 2.3 for me has been great NO issues! Like others I believe this to be isolated or a result of other issues. I've been very regular on my 5,000 mile oil changes & maintenance. Only had to change plugs every 100,000 miles, and changed...
SPV parts is fantastic to work with.
I went with the backlit rigid lights in my capable bumper that is the same as yours. Their wiring harness made things very simple, and made it possible to use the factory fog light switch.
I went with the backlit rigid lights. And I am really happy with them. I would highly recommend going with John Tischler from SPV parts. He was fantastic to work with and was above and beyond helpful in the ordering & installation processes. They have the wiring all figured out and are more...
I have squatch 35's on my 23 badlands 2 door and am running rock block mud flaps. I like them for their coverage, and also for their ability to come off easily if I decide to do some off-roading. No rubbing. Will eventually add a 1" front leveling kit.
I had this same problem with 33's or 35's on. I purchased a 12" extension, it was too long. I returned it and went with a 8" extension. It is perfect. I will try and post a picture tomorrow. I also locked in the extension with a u-bolt plate lock. It sticks out just far enough for clearance...
