Foutz 2.5 Collar Lift Question

I was curious if I needed new UCA with the 2.5 inch collar lifts from Foutz Motorsport? I bought some Hoss 3.0 takeoffs with them pre installed so I would like to know before I put them on my non SAS BB.

You might be able to get away without it but you should strongly consider it

If you can properly align the vehicle your OK to go, but your are at the limit of what the stock UCA can handle. (Foutz makes some nice UCA's too)

As I understand it a UCA isn't subject to a ton of stress with 'normal' driving. I think an upgrade is cheap insurance, and it doesnt add a ton of labor if your doing the shocks and coil springs, but no its not totally necessary. Accutune, Icon and Metal Cloak all offer reasonably priced ones too.
