Hi. This weekend I added rock crawl, removed fake engine noise and changed panic key to 2 presses.

I have an xkglow spare tire light, which kinda explains the DTCs in BbyCM and TRM as I removed the third taillight and the xkglow taps into the trailer wires inside the driver cargo panel.

But I don’t understand the PAM and ABS DTCs. Is my ABS, Roll Stability Control, Hill Decent Control, etc. not working?

It's not uncommon to have random DTCs like this in a module. If they aren't affecting the operation of anything, just ignore them.

Have you tried resetting to see if they return?

I agree that these codes are nothing to be concerned about if the truck has no issues.

The config code in the TRM is weird, though. I don't see why tapping into the trailer wire would trigger incomplete config codes. Did you make any config changes to the TRM with FORScan?

Yes, I reset the DTC (trash can) and they showed up again as the photo show. :(

The only ones I made changes to are dsp/acm for fake noise, BdcCM for fob panic, and ABS to rock crawl.

Your wildtrak may not have all the necessary hardware and modules that rock crawl mode is designed to work with and some modules may be tripping up is my guess.

Hmm, I can try putting rock crawl back and see what that does.

thats what I would try put it back, the ABS likes to throw codes but usually they are a one time and delete them its good. if it keeps coming back then there is an issue. ABS is connected to just about everything, I wouldnt want it to be in a bad state.

TRM might be the slice severed part of the connection so the signal is failing. maybe retap/verify it.

Also, I take it you've already tried trickle charging the battery overnight and unhooking/rehooking the battery back up?

I haven’t. Can I just disconnect the battery or do I need to trickle charge it?

That happens a lot where Ford's ab data cuts off the last few lines of config on certain modules. You'll have to convert the .abt file you saved to .txt so you can view it and compare it that way for whatever lines don't show on Ford's side.

I would do both honestly. Disconnect for a few minutes will reboot every module, then trickle charge it while it’s connected so the BMS sees a recharge and let it go several hours / overnight

May not fix the problem but doesn’t cost anything to try, and it’s amazing the number of random issues it does fix

Also check the SOC of the battery. I don't know if Forscan has a datalogger function but here in the dealership I see a lot of DTC's like that due to a low SOC(state of charge)
