Can "dark car" mode be added to the Bronco with ForScan?

Dark Car mode is in the F150 police model, where when you click the key fob to lock the vehicle, it doesn't blink the lights or honk horn. Would be handy for people who hunt or don't want to bother the their camping neighbors.

Interesting - Never heard of this before. Seems like it would be a simple thing to do with Forscan, but I’m no expert in this.

This would be a huge quality of life change for me, so much honking and double-honking when locking and opening all the time, so loud :surprised:

Mine locks everything up with the first click on the fob, no horn or lights. then if you click it a second time for a confirmation you get lights and horn.
Or just lock it with the door handle lock.

Its possible. Definitely not for everyone as it disables all lights when doors are opened including interior lights.

I have a '23 Big Bend, I was able to turn that off through regular settings.

Yes , you can make it go into " Silent " mode , which is very similar to " Dark Car " . No horn or lights flash when arming or disarm . I have not tried it with Forscan , but did this using Flaschcal

It doesn’t affect your warranty. The very first thing I do with a new Ford is fire up Forscan and start making changes. Always throws me off when I hop in a factory Ford and hear the startup chimes. Hate that

I don't have ForScan, I was able to turn off my daytime running lights and make all kind of changes just through regular settings. It's not the easiest to navigate, I found most by accident, just clicking around.

I did a few ForScan changes early on. I must have found something, because my fob locks the truck with just a amber running light flash and no horn.

I've been trying to find a way to completely black out my Bronco. I'm an amateur astronomer. It's very bad form to display any white light until everyone is packing to leave. My Bronco won't cooperate. Some lights always come on when I open a door.
