My FE only has 15k miles on it so its still under warranty. My center screen is black. It was glitching for a week or so and would restart while driving sometimes but now its been black for 2.5 weeks. I tried the power button and skip fwd reset it didnt work, I unhooked battery didnt work, and changed fuses it didnt work. I made an appointment for last Monday at a Ford dealership but the tech called out so the dealership had to reschedule and told me it would be mid September. I called two other dealerships one (star ford never called me back from last week and I just called again and the phone literally rang for 5 minutes with noone picking up), and the other dealership which is 40 mins away I set an appointment but have yet to get a confirmation from the online system. I currently have no phone, radio, back up camera, nav, or charging capability and Im frustrated being I have an 8 hr trip this weekend. I asked the first dealership if they could give me a loaner as they have in the past they said no. I was just wanting my car fixed before I do this 8hrs of driving Saturday but it seems noone wants to work or answer the phone. So let down by Ford they can get you in for a oil change fast but if its anything technical it seems to be weeks or months out. Does anyone have any suggestions of anything else I can try since I cant get a dealer to help in a timely manner?
