I just installed my factory hardtop and I have this big gap in the cargo area where the bottom of the hardtop meets the body. I'm assuming this is normal and you have it too? Not a big deal but it is certainly noticeable. It almost looks like there's supposed to be different plastic fittings for the hardtop.

I got dual tops with my ‘24 and with the hard top on that looks just like mine, sort of unfinished.

Particle board isn't really worth keeping for anything IMO. Just find yourself a stencil and make something out of nicer wood :)
That's called OSB or oriented strand board, in the old days we called it Aspenite, particle board is made of sawdust and glue! lol
