So the Arabs can build the tallest building in the world (Burj Dubai) sans fasteners, only using fancy adhesives, while America can't stick acoustic tiles to a ceiling that stay in place. 🤔
We probably don't have any fancy adhesives holding the liner now.. given how the adhesive loses nearly all tack after it falls off the hardtop.

If you want a permanent solution, 2 part epoxy it. It won’t come down…ever. Also, rubber cement is incredibly strong - apply to both parts, let dry for a bit and put the parts together. I use it often and is incredibly durable. I often resole portions of my running shoes and they take a daily beating…hot, cold, wet, dry, etc.

Something magnetic could be added with jb weld and then a magnet attached to the headliner, so it could still be removed. Or posts could be added that allow a screw-in clamp or something. Just something to help share the weight, with the adhesive still used.

Another option might be finding someone that does the old school spray in headliner and see what they say.

Has anyone with issues removed the headliner and rolled without it for a while?

Curious to how much of a change you have experienced with temperature and sound inside the cabin.

I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a squareback but am hesitating due to the fact they aren’t offering the headliner anymore.

From what I can tell on Armadillo.designs website just now, they DO offer headliner, but no longer see CUSTOM headliner, ie so just black.

Ford Bronco Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop Headliner still offered
