Expectation: hit the offroad park every weekend. Terrorize the sand in Baja mode.
Reality: hit the offroad park twice a year. Drive fast on gravel with Baja in 2wd.

My expectation and reality are pretty close to the same. Living in Garfield County, CO I've already put my '16 Ram 3500 into places you only see side by sides running. It has the pin striping to prove it. I prefer to get way back in for hunting and tend to use my vehicle to go as far as it is capable and then hike the rest of the way. This will provide me a lot more capability so that I don't have to make tracks to get back down when the weather moves in. Other than my off days, it will also be a daily. I'm not going to put it in situations that I don't think that it can handle, but it isn't going to get babies either. Going Badlands for the full offroad toolkit and adding to it from there...

this forum opened my eyes to so many awesome off road options. I’d be surprised if the closed between now and BAD (Bronco Arrival Day).

Other than some baja-style ass-ripping in the sands of Lake McConaughy in Nebraska with my dogs once or twice a year, or braving the Colorado snow storms to get some street tacos for lunch, my Badlands is going to spend a lot of time looking funky fly fresh ferrying me and my golf clubs across town 2-3 times per week to get in 18 holes and make the beverage cart girls swoon.

I work from home, never commute. I hope to explore some mountain trails but no promises. It is what it is.

Nah I plan on flying to the mainland to pick up my Bronco, either in Ohio, or Granger or at the factory like Johnny cash! Then hit the road to california. Stop by an offroadeo, moab, some mountains, and maybe some of the TAT.
