So who has installed the Ecoflow alternator charger and how has it been for battery life and performance? Where did you run that thick wire it comes with?

I've had one for about a month now. It charges my Ecoflow Delta 2 battery fast, took about to 50 minutes to charge it from dead. I had used the 12v charger in the back which took forever to charge and on my '23 Bronco I ended up frying it. I have the alternator mounted on the rear drivers side window mollie panel on my 2dr, ended up running the thick cable through the firewall on the drivers side and under the door molding coming out behind the rear side panel. I don't have rear seats, I have a Goose Gear rear seat delete and I just put the excess cable under that. Ended up being a pretty clean installation.

Awesome thanks for the information!

I installed mine last Summer. All good so far, especially now that I have the XT60 adapter cable for non-EcoFlow products. I ran the cable through the grommet in the firewall, then under the door sill trim to the rear cargo area, then up through the driver's side rear quarter panel trim, where I have it mounted on an internal window/roll bar molle panel.

Mine has been great for me. I have it completely tuck up, out of the way, under my rear seat (4 door). Ran a more flexible thicker gauge wire to the battery. I have pictures of it in the link @masshole posted.
I changed it up some since then and moved my EcoFlow Delta 2 to the back but the charger still lives under the seat.
I leave mine on and haven’t had any problems with it draining my battery but maybe because it’s my daily drive.

hello team! Can someone post a picture of their alternator charger cable connected to the battery posts? What post did you use? The larger one that’s usually empty on broncos or did you connect before the BMS? Every time someone has asked this in other forums someone will just reference to a 20min video. Just looking for a photo of what you did!!
Thank you

I ran a more flexible 4ga. postive cable to one of the four provided post on the battery. For the negitive wire I just used a rear seatbelt bolt which was close to my Eco charger.

This is great. I am about to install my charger I am concerned about how to get through the firewall. Do you happen to have a picture of how you went through the grommet?

No pic handy, but I could take one later. I basically just cut a little slot in the black grommet on the driver's side and ran it through there.

That's basically what I did as well, cut a cross into the grommet with a utility knife.

Here is the grommet on the firewall driver side
The main boot is the OEM wires and the grommet you can pop out with ease.

thanks ford for actually thinking ahead 😂
