Pretty much do conversions in my head, except for Fahrenheit vs Celsius who can figure that shit out? Back in the day, 9/16th was the shit. I know, they disappeared because they were used in a lot of applications. The ones you need are the demons...
Unfortunately, I've reached the age where I spend more time looking for my glasses than I do my tools, and by the time I find my glasses I can't remember what tool I was looking for in the first place.
Oh, there's a brand new torx + 50 hiding somewhere in my Bronco. It rolled under the seats and I haven't been able to find it. Pretty sure I'll never see that again.

How about this for a 1-up. I dropped one of Rough Country's flat sided nuts for their hood prop kit (it's terrible people, don't buy it) in this hole (that's where they tell you to route their hardware for the install). I've accepted the fact that I'll never fish that thing out.
Their kit also damaged my hood, but that's a whole other topic for another forum.

Ha! I did the same thing. Removing the liner did the trick. Just had to remove the bottom 3 or 4 pins near the door and it was visible then my trusty 8 year old was able to get his hand in there. Haha.
Those retainer pins are crap and don’t unscrew really. Just plan to replace them.
I mentioned THESE the other day.
Also, get used to pulling the flares. You’ll want to clean behind them every wash. As long as the latches are in the right direction - just pull straight out. I’ve forgotten one here and there and pulled pretty hard and not broken them or bent fender. Just turn and try again. It will pop as mentioned above.

I dropped a 10mm between the fender, and liner of my previous '07 GM plastic car. When I saw what it would take to retreieve it, I went to Lowes and both another one. Much easier, and the person that bought it got a free 10mm socket. They just don't know it.......
Give the Bronco a good shake and it should fall out

I did the same thing, just pull the flare (it does take a bit of force and will make a "pop" noise when it comes free), pull a few of the push pins for the fender liner, and use this to fish it out.
I dropped the bracket so leaving it in there wasn't an option! I wouldn't loose too much sleep over the infamous 10mm though.........
There should be a note in the instructions for these as to how remove dropped parts into the fender from hell.

Ain’t that the truth. I’ve been designing equipment that mounts on equipment that now days are only made by non US companies so I’ve been doing the mental conversion for nearly 50 years. As for temperature, you only need to remember the three most important ones.
20 is room temperature (68)
0 is where shit freezes. (32)
-40 is where it’s colder than shit no matter where you are. (-40)

I got one of these off of Amazon when I lost a bolt inside another car. It’s a camera with a light and a magnet
I lost the end of an LED drop light in the front valance section of my Mercury Milan. It stayed there for years until I swapped out the radiator. Once retrieved, placed back on the light, and all is well.
I 2nd this solution.Remove the tire and fender liner (splash shield). 4 screws and a dozen push pins. No matter where it is, you will be able to reach it, assuming is doesn't just fall out.
If I don't retrieve a lost socket after a few easy attempts, it stays where it's at and I purchase a replacement. LOL
