Hi y'all,

My driver's side mirror was stolen. I hate Los Angeles so much. Anyways, has anyone ever had this problem? I was just quoted 1200 to repalce the whole thing. Seems expensive.

Sorry that happened. People suck. I'm lucky to live in the Boons. The other day I went into a convenience store for about 5 minutes and just left my keys in my Bronco unlocked. I probably could have left it running and it would have been fine.

Get Suma mirrors for your ride. I probably still have my original mirror glass I’ll give you. You Just need to pay for shipping, provided I find them in my storage area.

I had someone steal my driveshaft off a 94 Jeep and I don't even live in LA! It was an odd year for Jeep driveshafts is what I heard. Cost me $450 nearly 20 years ago when I didn't have the money. And of course I found out during a driving rainstorm at 5am when I was in a hurry to get to work... lol ✊

Is it just the mirror itself (and heater...), or do you have to replace the whole mirror assembly? I would guess the whole thing is $1200. If it's just the mirror, Suma Performance and WolfBox sell aftermarket options that aren't that expensive. However, not sure if they support the heater part. Maybe @Ducati1098 could provide a part number for you if it's just the mirror.

Looks like the whole motor was ripped out also, so just the glass won’t help unfortunately.

The motor is available separately also though, just hard to tell what all has been exactly damaged from the picture.

$244 for just one glass lens is ridiculous, even for dealer pricing. For $288 you can get two Suma mirrors with Blindspot Indicator (BLIS), defroster (you might hit snow in the Sierras!) and a built-in turnsignal. I love mine. The SUMA is designed to minimize blindspots, but remember, it is convex, and "Objects May Be Closer Than They Appear."

The mirror comes with wire clips which will mate with the connecting points on the back of the mirror. You'll run a wire through the mirror's arm and base, down to the engine compartment where you'll need to connect to your truck's left or right turnsignal circuit. My tech did the entire thing in 15-20 minutes. Then attach the supplied clips to your wires, plug the clips into the back of the mirror, and you've got all mirror functions plus a turnsignal.

Remember that if you have tinted side windows you don't want gray tint. People have asked for clear'/non -tint, but SUMA says, no way.

I highly recommend.
