While we are on the windows subject, does anyone else get a slapping noise when you shut your drivers door?

No idea what they were thinking on frameless. I guess removal weight. My wrangler was fully framed and no issues.

Yes a little weight, but really it's the size. Frameless is a much smaller package to store. Like in the back of said Bronco or on your garage wall.

I am getting a lot of wind noise from my driver rear window. After looking at it more closely, this window appears to be tipped out more than the other windows. I would think this explains the wind noise if the glass is not pressing on the window seals as much and the wind it impacting that point of seal more. So while I was at the dealer for another vehicle, I start to look around at other Broncos. There was a lot of variability on the tipping on the lot, but none was quite as bad as my Bronco. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Can you somehow shim the window down in the assembly? I have an appointment at the dealer this Wednesday and just want to know if it can be fixed before they tell me wind noise is normal.
What is most likely happening is that the auto down feature, when you open the door, is not working. This effect will position the window outside the seal instead of under it. Lower the window and raise it with the door closed and it will seal correctly. Let the dealer know the auto down isn't working.

Mainly for easier storage and aesthetics. Frameless windows is not unique Bronco, some European models have them and it wasn't uncommon in sixties model cars. My 64 Impala had them. When the windows are adjusted properly with 3mm of engagement into the top rubber they work fine. That said I would prefer framed windows.

Here is an update from the dealership. They adjusted the window but it still doesn't meet specifications. It was better on the way home today, so they did something. They did notice that the doors are not properly adjusted, so off to the body shop. I must admit I agree with them, there is an alignment difference between one side of the car and the other. So I am going to let them do it. I will report back here when complete with the results.

Well, I am impressed. The noise is all gone and the windows are in perfect alignment.
