I blame that “Similar Threads” box at the bottom of every page. People scroll down to that and just click on the topics without looking at the posting dates. And then for some reason, people feel compelled to go right to the reply box without even reading one other post in the thread.

Some forums have a little note in the reply box saying, “This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.” Hey @Administrator is there any possibility we could have something like that? It’s getting out of hand lately…
