What a cluster. Here’s my indication of willingness to let anyone make high quality scans of the parts I have from them to spin up an alternative if you’ve got a machine shop.

Looks like some high quality duct tape right there

Wonder if the road trip was to one of his court dates

I don’t think it will help but since you asked, I did get a BYOD rail and a set of stirrups from them. It was super high quality
I also have their stirrups for my Badlands and they are great. I also ordered the picatinny rail and am frustrated that I cant find accessories that fit on it. What a waste of money.

How can the department of labor lawsuit be true? According to his supporters he’s in this mess bc nobody wants to work. If nobody wants to work then how can you be sued for not paying employees who don’t exist lol…nice try though. I find it interesting that a handful of the guys supporting him earlier in the thread were relatively local to him (PNW). This may have been strategic on his part to keep those with easy access happy.

I dunno about all that. I’m in Nashville and just got lucky with the magnum stirrups and the badges, grab rail. He still has items listed in the catalog for @LethalPerformance which I find odd now.

It’s a shame, I got all my items and they have been great. I guess he can’t make my SL bracket. lol.

I thought he was a douche tbh. When he was first building the steps he was going to drill them in the rails and I mentioned a clamp concept and he blew me off on here, then he figured out that wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

Simple, he bought a ferrari and a porsche taycan with the money (and a giant truck, IIRC)

He made some amazing products (IMO) and could easily have had a successful business if he had done the following:

a) not played johnny racecar with his money
b) hired a dedicated CS rep
c) stopped accepting orders (or at least accepting money for pre-orders) when his backlog got too high
4) lost focus on existing products that still had high demand.
LOL.

When I saw that he built a new shop with new CNC machines to produce the "all new " wheels ... while still having a 6 to 10 month backlog on his other products (that he wasn't focusing on) that were still 100% pre-pay , I knew the end would be near.

I had strongly considered his steps for the 4 door Badlands, but seeing how wait times were growing even after a couple years of production .... yeah no fucking way would I pitch into that type of crowd funding fleecing.

All the red flags were there for him and ADV, but yet, there are still victims.
Unfortunate....

Same here. When I questioned his reasoning for the delays and both he and some of his fanboys questioned my understanding of running a high quality boutique machine shop. None of which I saw true since I had been in the business for 50 years. I feel for those that got sucked into his excuses of getting material, labor to produce, and post processing delays.

He literally bought the machines and blanks to make custom one off Ferrari wheels with the prepay spend it discount

That’s so damn gangster

I ordered the BAM BYODR for the Bronco on 5 June 2024. At the time they said there was a 7-8 week lead on the product. No problem. I'm pretty patient, but it's 16 Jan 2025, seven months since the order, and I still don't have the product. What really infuriates me is that I can't get anyone at ARCHETYPE RACING to respond to my inquiries. The payment was processed right away but the product is still not here. I understand that production isn't always predictable, but neglecting to keep me informed, and failing to answer my reasonable questions is inexcusable. Did they go out of business without my noticing?
I am beyond disappointed and will pursue a refund through the credit card company. I won't waste my time with this derelict outfit anymore.
It's too bad.

@EIGHTLUG did call it quits on B6G so I would definitely request that refund through your credit card company.
