I had a phone mount that goes into the center dash part behind the emergency lights/lockers button. One day I adjusted the angle of my mount and it plopped off. I can’t get a good look inside to see if something broke or fell into the little well but I’m aiming that’s what happened because the mount is no longer attached to this part, lol. Anyone else encounter this or have ideas to remedy?

The assembly is accessory ready--which means it simply unscrews and comes right off. Might be fixable, is easily replaceable.

To me it looks like the nut backed off of the mount. You should be able to pull the whole mounting assembly via the 2 screws and put the nut back on.

What he said, but be prepared to go in with a long magnet on a stick to get that loose nut, it wants to fall into awful places.

It's happened to a few people on here. It's a very light duty mount.

Replace with the Mabett dashboard charging port.
Is the current revision pretty good? I got a version 1 and it's awful, intermittent power and very low wattage when it does work.

I have revision of it and it has been sitting on my workbench for months as I procrastinate removing my 67D device rail and any other bits i need to get out of the way to install it. I'm just not filming shit anymore.

The ports that it pulls power from barely provide more than 12W of charging, so I'm thinking it's usage will be pretty darn limited. I really need USB-C PD ports more than anything. Being stuck at 12W sucks.

I don't know anything about revisions, or versions. I bought mine from that youtube Buttercup girl. Easy install, works as a data port. Good performance.
