But those vehicles have cooling systems designed to handle the extra heat from an inter-cooler being in front of the radiator.

With as cheap as Ford has become, I wouldn't be surprised that they gave the Bronco "just" enough cooling for the stock setup.
That's not necessarily true. Plenty of vehicles out there with aftermarket front mounts just like this.
Either way, the point is moot because there isn't an issue. But I understand the thought.

It will take some sustained hard pulls at high ambient temps to ascertain that for sure.

Already been done. Not only by me, but others that have tested this intercooler.

Is there published HP/TQ gains for this. I get there should be an assumed gain due to lower temps, but I'd love to see gains beyond temp changes at intake during idle.

That’s a better question for CVF. Not sure if they’ve done any testing yet or not.

The temperature changes aren’t only during idle, it’s throughout the RPM range as you can see in the videos.

I didn’t add this to make more power necessarily, although I'm sure it did add some. I did because I’m already making a lot of power and I wanted to make sure I could consistently make that overall power with more efficient temperatures. Additional power that this intercooler supplied is just icing on the cake.

Probably won’t work for me unfortunately, because I have nowhere to relocate my ACC module to.
Is there no room up behind the grill to relocate the ACC module? Asking because I'm thinking about going with this high mount intercooler myself in prep to do the Hammer Built hidden winch setup

Not with this intercooler I don't think. You would have to use the Mishimoto high mount intercooler instead (at least according to Hammer Built's instructions)
I don't see any way of mounting the ACC behind the grill with this intercooler.

Fair enough, I'm still researching :) hopefully will find something by the time I'm ready to pull the trigger on it all

Any idea where people are opting to relocate or mount it to?

There’s no need to relocate it, unless you’re trying to put something in it’s place.
You can just leave it in it’s original place.

There is nowhere, that I know of, to relocate it with this intercooler.

Thanks! I guess going with the hidden winch setup will still require some thinking for that ACC unit.

Recently had a chance to install CVF's new high mount intercooler setup so I wanted to give an overview and review.
Huge shoutout to @CVF-Jason for getting this thing out to me quickly so I could do some testing while the temperatures were still hot out.

https://www.cvfab.com/collections/i...oler-2021-2024-ford-bronco-2-3l-2-7l-ecoboost

Small backstory: I already had an aftermarket stock location intercooler installed. It did an okay job of managing charge air temperatures with stock turbos, but I realized a while ago after installing larger turbos that it was really struggling to keep up with the additional heat/boost.

Installation was extremely easy thanks to the thorough installation video @MWILD made.

My installation was slightly different than normal.
This intercooler kit is currently designed to work with factory charge pipes. However, I already had aftermarket charge pipes installed and did not want to remove them. Luckily I was very easily able to get a few 45 degree silicone hoses to make it work with my charge pipes. YMMV if you try to do this.
I would assume that CVF will eventually make a kit in the future that allows this intercooler to work with their own aftermarket charge pipes.

Here is a small snapshot of data that I was able to get showing the difference between the aftermarket stock location intercooler and the new high mount:
Tried to make both logs as close to the same as possible for a good comparison.
This is a 4th-6th gear WOT pull. Both were done on very similar days with an ambient temperature of 80 degrees.

Aftermarket stock location intercooler:

CVF high mount intercooler:

Very easy to see just from this short pull, that the high mount does a far better job of keeping charge air and manifold charge temps down, while the stock location intercooler really just starts to spike the temperatures the longer its pushed.
There is also a very large difference during normal every day driving. The stock location intercooler seemed to get heat soaked very quickly and once it was, there was just no way of bringing the temperatures back down to a normal range. While the high mount stays much closer to ambient temperature at all times even after getting hot.

What turbos do you have and where are they from?

I wouldn’t buy another product from them ever again. Some of their products are manufactured with the wrong specs and when called out on it they just point the finger at someone else and don’t accept responsibility. Customer service is horrible and their tech department and engineers are a joke. Google CV Fab fitment issues and you will see this across other ford models they make parts for as well.

Here is a picture showing a BOV that won’t seat correctly in their Hot pipe and that same BOV will fit in the OE charge pipe.
