My badlands non sas 2 door was $9500 off msrp. It was new, sitting on lot for a while. There are still a few deals to be had. BUT, nothing wrong with grabbing a unicorn when you see one, even if you’re not getting $10k off…

I got my 2 door SAS Badlands lux for 3000 under MSRP. But I agree, grab your unicorn for the best price you can!

So another point... and this wouldn't apply to many of you yet. I'm in my 60's and internalizing just how short life can be and that I'm gonna be dead for a very long time.

Reality is that I'm not sure how many new cars I'm gonna have. I can afford it, so thinking of indulging myself with exactly the spec I want and not sweat the price too much.

I'm an old FJ-40 guy, and the Bronco is everything and more of what I wanted to build the FJ-40 into.
Since you're a former FJ-40 owner, I assume you will actually use the functionality you are buying in the Bronco. In that case yes, maybe spend for the extra spec.

My general advice is do things, don't buy things as a proxy for doing things. You still have time to have adventures with a Bronco, do things while you can.

I've been speaking with a couple of members about pricing and a lot of the big discounts you're seeing are specific to the sales region the dealer is in. This month our region is focusing heavily on '23 Bronco with $4K in retail customer cash, $1K retail bonus cash, $2K in Jeep conquest bonus cash. They have a couple of other dealer incentives to help dealers sitting on a ton of inventory to get it down priced and cleared out. No reason dealers in the Cincinnati region with a bunch of aged '23 units shouldn't be starting at or near invoice before the incentives.

Not all areas of the country have the same programs going and some may be focused on F150 or some other model that has a huge days supply in that region. These programs aren't generally advertised since they're only run for a short window meaning you need to call your dealer and see if there're any open programs. Since I'm not a sales guy I don't keep up on specific buyer qualifications like if someone from another region (zip code of buyer) has to be in that specific region or what model/year Jeep for the extra $2K.

With the '25 order bank opening soon there should be a bunch of extra $$ Ford starts throwing at '23s and am seeing some on specific '24s so if you don't care about a refresh, there should be some good deals between now and the end of the year. Just need to look around and ask the right questions.

I know what you mean- I am in my 60's too and even past mid 60's LOL. I am also an FJ-40, old Bronco and Jeep CJ guy- had all of the them at different times back the 70's and 80's.

When the Bronco was first revealed I was so thrilled and reserved one. Even if I could not afford it or changed my mind. I was just going to get very base 2 door, then changed it to Black Diamond. Then changed it again to what I really, really wanted- Base 2 door, Sas with biggest engine- the 2.7- and my first choice of color. The anxiety was so much and the wait- almost 2 years. But I got what I really wanted and when it came in and I saw it I had to have it. Fast forward to today, had it over 2 years, my wife and I both love it, we go at a good one thankfully. And got it for 38K, at lot of money for us but a deal to get it with Sas. Get what you really want and you will not be disappointed.

This was like reading my situation when I bought my Bronco. Im also in my 60s and I had an FJ40 for 20 years and finally got tired of over priced parts and the constant hunt for spares. When saw the new Bronco when it was released I knew that was the one for me.

I ordered exactly what I wanted because like you mentioned, may be my last new vehicle since I keep them so long.

I have my ‘24 Bronco and with the exception of not getting the cloth seats I initially ordered back in 2023 on my original order, it’s everything I could have ever imagined it being. I paid MSRP, maybe could have found one for less on a lot somewhere but there’s a point where you just pull the trigger and don’t play the “coulda, shoulda, woulda game”.

Write the check and start your adventure.

Yep, understood how Sas is overpriced. My spec is manual, so not so many of those around. Wasn't set on the Lux, but I tend to buy new and drive it 15+ years. So... thinking I should just go for the whole ball of wax with no regrets.
Do it!

Especially after reading your other post.

What is an extra $2,000 off a 15 year ownership cycle?

I would get exactly what you want! Life is too short to live with regret, (which becomes more expensive in the long run) "buyers remorse" at our age is short lived!

Hey Y'all... my first post here, and hopefully I'm in the right place asking in the right way.

Looking at a new 2024 Badlands with Sas and Lux sitting at a dealer. $2k under MSRP.

Good price? Bad price? Just okay?
Hold on for a while longer until ‘25s start ordering. Then go for -$4k and maybe settle for -$3.5k. Good luck.

It's your money and your decision. If you're comfortable with the deal then buy it. You don't have to answer to anyone on this forum for how or why you purchase a vehicle. Remember: There's always a better deal....you have to just find it.

If it's any consolation, I just turned 72 and on June 2 bought a Bronco Raptor! I had to practice a bit to find the best way to jump in and out, but have that down to a science now. I love the way it rides and handles. Every where I go I get comments and questions. This is "Blue", not because of the color but because it's the "lead Raptor" from Jurassic World!

Just bought a very similar one last week. They showed a $3000 discount off sticker but you know how they do creative financing!
