Hey all,

was randomly checking under the hood on my brand new Wild track and noticed coolant levels are exactly at minimum. No signs of leaks and the transmission temps are below 190 degrees when driving. Should I be worried? Do I top it off or leave it be? I only put 2,200 miles on it so far

Same here. Topped it off to max with Ford premixed antifreeze. No problems since. If it continues to go down, have it looked at … possible leak.

I’ve had it for 2 months and haven’t noticed any signs of leaks at all and it’s been driving with no signs of high temps. I think Ford are just being cheap

You should be watching the coolant temperature “dashes” on the cluster, not the transmission temperature.

There’s nothing wrong with it being at the minimum if you’re checking it correctly when it’s cold.

I remember my did this when I got it. Topped it off and it's been fine ever since.

Not unusual for them to be low from the factory. As others have said, as long as it holds after you top it off, no cause for concern.

The temperature dashes on the gauge is right in the middle but I’ll keep an eye out when it’s cold

Low from the factory. My one month old 2024 BB is like that and my wife’s 2024 Heritage Edition is the same way. Haven’t got pre-mix to top them off.

I looked at several that were on the lot and not a single one was at max. All were at minimum or even lower.

Okay god bless! I was starting to panic but I feel like all my temps are normal and in the last 2 months I didn’t see any leaks in my garage so it has to be them being a little cheap

By definition minimum is good enough. Don't overthink it.
Thank you! I think for now I’ll keep an eye out on the temp and just top it off on my first service appointment

As someone who changed the fluids in the differentials, transfer case, and transmission at 4k miles to get out the initial break-in materials, it is blatantly obvious to me that all fluids were set to the minimum….at best!

Ford saves $0.02 per vehicle that way. That adds up to dollars! And the savings is passed on to YOU!
lol true. I’m the type of person who panics right away so I’m glad I’m not the only one that observed this

Yeah. I have this conversation at work when we are looking for values in a range. People want to adjust if we are near either end. I ask them what the range means. Kinda self explanatory once they say it out loud.
