I'm considering purchasing a 2025 Bronco, and I'm currently trying to figure out which model I should get. My first instinct was the 2 door base model. I really like the look of the 2 doors, and I honestly don't want (and can't afford) many of the higher-end models. I'm also considering the 4 door Big Bend, however, mainly because I'm worried I'll miss certain features that either don't come with or aren't available on the Base model. Primarily, I'm looking at the differences between the 101A Equipment Group from the Base and the 222A Equipment Group that comes with the Big Bend. I'm curious if anyone else went through a similar decision making process, and/or if anyone can chime in on how useful the extra features are.

With the way the '25s are optioned I feel like the only thing I would miss between the Base and Big Bend are the heated seats. I cant think of anything else worth mentioning other than that. If you can live without heated seats and you prefer the look of the 2 door I would select the Base 2 door.

About the only thing the BB had over the Base was the optional rear locker (that also gives you gearing). If your thoughts are, you want to make the jump to 35" tires, then skip the Base (non-sas). Not much in the mid-package other than heated seats, and they can be installed for about $350 from an installer.

I had MONTHS to wait on my '21 Bronco, so I was able to save up a few $$ to cover my needs. I decided early on that I wanted to get everything I would like in a Bronco. The only thing that I haven't used really is the Wireless Charger. Don't compromise or the one thing you didn't get will haunt you every time you get in the car. Better to have and not use rather than need and not have.

The big difference is the Mid package... which comes with...
  • Heated seats
  • Dual climate control
  • Rear-console power outlet
  • Intelligent lock/unlock
  • Navigation
  • Remote Start via your keyfob (automatic only)
    • On Base, you can remote start with the FordPass app. This just adds the keyfob remote start.
  • Co-Pilot 360 safety systems
    • Includes rear parking sensors, Lane-Keeping, and the Blind Spot Information System
Beyond that, you get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, some factory window tinting, and of course different wheels/tires. That's really the bulk of the differences.

---

In terms of the Mid package features, the only one I really use and enjoy is the Intelligent lock/unlock. It unexpectedly handy. I wouldn't call it a game-changer, but yeah... it's handy.

The rest I personally never use, or only use occasionally and could live without. The Mid package was an really ask from the wife, she considers heated seats mandatory and appreciates having Co-Pilot 360 since it is a larger vehicle than what she normally drives.

We went through the same decision and landed on a '23 Base 2 dr part because Ford wouldn't build our '21 order without us lowering from Badlands and part $$$. After almost 2 years in the Base we upgraded to a '24 Black Diamond 2.7l mid package last month. When reading about the Mid package it doesn't sound like anything for the money but now after having it wow it's WAY more than I thought. Also, the 2.7l vs 2.3l is a HUGE difference, our new Bronco feels 10 times nicer and powerful then our Base.

I would also look at new '24s on dealer lots, our '24 BD was $50,805 msrp and we purchased for $44,600. a '25 Base with 2.3l/auto is almost $43k.

I'd say the big thing for me on the Mid package is reverse sensors. The rest I could live without. Now reverse sensors will not be as big of a deal on a 2 door, but I consider them a better safe than sorry option. Hard to screw up with them.

I'd look on the lots for a '24 Big Bend with a discount ... specifically a 2 door!

Good luck getting a 2025 Base 2 door, they are going to be difficult to get, even if you order it.

Historically, there make approximately 1/10 Broncos as a 2 door and maybe 1/10 will be base models, at best. It gets worse if you want a manual, because only 1/10 of those will be manuals.

Assuming production of 100k Broncos in 2025, roughly 1000 will be 2 door base models, and probably 100 will be will be 2 door manual transmission Broncos.

I think that in 2025, it will drop even further off to about 1/20 Broncos will be a 2 door (if we are lucky). I tossed around the idea of the 2025 2 door base Bronco, but it is overpriced by about $5k. You get much more with the Big Bend (and I would strongly encourage you to get the Black Diamond package).

The better option as many have alluded to is shopping for a leftover 2024.

For me the biggest things for mid package are the Blind spot monitors and heated seats. Wouldn’t want to live withou either of those personally
Yes for sure and the interior lighting is nice at night, can't believe the base didn't have that.

Shop the leftover '24's, there are a lot of good deals out there.

I ended up with a big bend without mid package and really wish I would have stuck with the base I originally ordered…there is nothing in big bend trim or mid package worth the money to me…there is little functional difference in any of the trims (4a, steering rack, sway bar disconnect, shocks aside, wheels/tires), just unnecessary creature comfort/looks things…Sasquatch is the same across all trims…v6 2dr Sasquatch for the win but it will have to be pre ā€˜25…
