Hey guys, I've been hearing a weird metal sound lately. It seems to be coming from the left front suspension whenever I hit a bump. This started happening when I was driving above 30 kilometers per hour. It's kind of concerning and I'm wondering what you all think the issue might be. Has anyone else experienced something similar with their suspension?

My '23 has had that same suspension noise from day 1. Both times that I have mentioned it the dealership has said they can't find anything wrong . I have also crawled around under there a few times myself to shake things around both under load and with both wheels off the ground. It's obviously not too concerning and I only hear it going slow and over bumps but it is something I feel should not be there.

My Ranger (R.I.P. 😔) had an annoyingly difficult clunk to track down. Started with just starting/stopping at slow speeds and or decent degree slow turns. Got worse to where it was fairly noticeable driving around 30-40 mph. Ended up getting a set of mechanic ears and attached them to various areas of the suspension and was able to track it down to the lower control arm. Replaced that and all was good, sadly I had already replaced most of everything else trying to fix it lol

of course it is hard to tell from the video but it sounds pretty obvious and NOT faint. Jack it up and use a separate jack to manipulate the wheel. sounds like control arm or ball joint. could be sway bar so check the mount bolts on that while youre there
