Everglades is a Mid package with large screen option. All along it was high package or better for this stuff from the get go, but that was started before Everglades was a thing.

I paid 2k more sticker for Everglades than my son did for his Badlands 2-door with high package. Ford should release this app for all Bronco owners. It is already built; why segregate? I’m sure they could make $$ by displaying 4x4 shops or pay to drive trail locations.

It's probably more of an inability to integrate rather than intentionally segregate. They'll come out with a patch eventually, maybe, who knows.

Has anyone has issues logging in? I click Login with Ford account, something spins for a second and then it takes me right back to the previous screen with the Login with Ford account button.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm on Android by the way.

I'm on IOS and that was my experience.

I set mine up, was running and shut it down, now I’m getting my vehicle model is not supported. Not cool Ford.

It's buggy mine did the same. It appears that phone reboots resolve most of the issues.

In the settings for the app there is a Recording quality option with 720P (default) and 1080P. I changed mine to 1080P. Not sure if that would account for choppy video or not

Does anyone know how to clear the permission issue on the vehicle screen when you connect via android auto? It says I can just disconnect and the app will show me what to do, but it don't be showing me what to do.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the satellite imagery in this app. It's like a freakin decade more recent than Google maps, and for some reason most of Google maps satellite imagery over Alaska was taken in the middle of the damn winter.

It's significantly more clear than Gaias satellite layers as well.

Open up the actual app settings on your phone (ya know where you would go to force stop/clear cache/etc) and give it permissions, then reconnect to the Bronco and re-open the app.

Thanks I'll try it out, looks like my camera and mic were auto denied.

I got mine to work but it took a bit of button mashing. It seems you sometimes have to wait between steps and not be too impatient.

It's pretty cool.

Yep, did those. several times over.

Same result.

I found that you need to give the Bronco app all permissions, otherwise it will not work.

It works on my phone, shows as a icon on Apple Carplay,
But refuses to sync…
Opened, closed, deleted, turned on, turned off
Going to delete the app (again), turn everything off for the night at try from scratch tomorrow

So tried to record in 720p and didn't know it wasn't focused.
But it does seem smoother than recording in 1080p, so that's a plus.
Still not as smooth as I'd like but much better than before.

1) You need to open the app settings on your phone and enable all of the permissions. On Android, you hold down the app icon and you can go to the background settings for the app. There are 4 hardware permissions and 1 software permissions that need to be enabled.
2) You need to open the Bronco Trail App on the APPS screen on your on board screen, and enable it there.
3) After #2, the app will tell you to open the app through CarPlay, and it should work.
4) For some features, the phone app AND the onboard app have to be running simultaneously.
