Do yourself a favor and pay a wrap/ppf shop to cover the roll bars in matte black. There are so many rough welds, edges, holes, and hardware, paying a pro to do it will be the best route. It's what I'm doing too. Some updates and a question:
Did the Kicker 6.75 Sub and Focus Amp upgrade. Here are some notes.
OEM Rock Slider install.
- 4$ Amazon Trim kit + long flathead + patience = no broken clips (full box not used)
- Install was straight forward. Wired for 4Ohm.
- Made the Forscan changes. +Sub, EQ off.
- results, average. Base is more pronounced, not all coming from doors. But is very much mid frequency. Not in High school, so very happy.
- Also replaced rear 4" with kickers, set to Speaker & Tweeter. Again, better but not mind blowing.
Got a take off, so needed brackets and hardware. Found in another thread here. Straight forward, covers welds well enough, very sturdy. Happy.
Question:
Prepping for summer. Would like to get some "covers" for the roll bar. Just for the esthetics. Stikerfab has some PPF and plastic covers but I'm not sold. I'm looking for something to cover most of it, make it black without painting. I've found lower and upper covers, but not a complete "system".
Any suggestions?

Nice. How does the 2-door perform pulling that setup? Is it steady at highway speeds? I'm thinking of picking up a similar sized boat/trailer this summer, getting tired of fishing only from the banks or kayaks. (I've got a manual with 2.3L though if that matters.)Took the boat out Mon and Tue while we had some 70 degree weather. River is still running high from all the rain, but it was worth it.

I have the 2.7 with automatic and with the Sas gearing it tows easily. I have a 10 minute drive to the river and all the roads are 45 mph or less so I haven't had a chance to get it on the highway. My boat is 16' so it's not that heavy, maybe 750-800 lbs for the boat, motor and trailer.Nice. How does the 2-door perform pulling that setup? Is it steady at highway speeds?
