Didn’t read the whole thread, but I also vote to get the one you ordered. SAS tires suck if you ever drive in gravel. If I could do it over I would go non SAS then do a mild lift (1”) and get whatever wheels I want with 35” BFGs. Not going to need the SAS gearing with only 2” more tire.

Another example why they need to move away from the dealership model. They add no value, only mark up.
This, although there are some good dealers out there that don't play these games.

Ford's dealer tactics and markups cost them a '22 GT500 sale with me, I would have been happy to have been able to order one at list but it was not to be. Ford's dealer tactics combined with their continued inability to produce 2-door Broncos lost that sale to Jeep for now (thanks, Granger!). That's a good chunk of change between the two lost sales, kids.

I'm a Ford guy and have been my entire life, but the last several years have my loyalty waning (my '19 F150 hasn't been the anvil the previous ones were either). They need to get their poop in a group, as it were.

It sucks, but it's your fault. Had you requested a copy of your DORA you would have known what Ford was going to build.

I can sympathize. Ordered a base manual with roof rack, aux switches, keypad, and rubber mats. Mine came with 0 options.

Rubber mats were no big deal, keypad was whatever, but the aux switches was a big bummer since it was pretty cheap and everything was pre-wired. Roof Rack I would say is no big deal because you can just add it, but it's so much more expensive ordering it separately. I ended up just taking mine as is.

Wow sounds like the dealership is the one who screwed you. They knew Sasquatch was a huge constraint and probably changed the order just to get it to come in sooner as it was a "Bronco" already in line. And give you the option to take it or leave it. Sucks as the Sasquatch is such a nice option to get from the factory. I know a lot of folks put on lifts, 35's or larger tires but gearing is a big deal if you want to maintain performance and the best MPG. And some have had problems with lifts too. I waited 2 years got the Sas, feel so lucky to get it and would not want a Bronco any other way. Love the Sas package.

DOG, As of Friday afternoon FoMoCo had opened a level 2 inquiry( whatever that means) I am supposed to have a "interview" phone call on Monday.
Full of doubt about that happening.
Sorry to hear about the situation. I agree with others that I would move forward with purchase WITH PP. Sounds like the dealer is trying to screw you on that (or at least the salesman), but if you have a call with Ford now is your opportunity to shine.
Feel free to voice your displeasure in the SAS being dropped. As @flip mentioned, it was a known issue to this forum, but not something the average consumer would have known about. I would voice that while you are understandably upset, you are a reasonable person and would like to find a way to move forward. However, the dealer has told you in no uncertain terms that they will not be honoring your price protection. This is now the MOST unsettling part of the experience because as far as you are aware, your PP cannot be moved to another order with another dealer. I would push that you want to be understanding that Ford may not be able to correct your build for you, but they could help make things right by getting the necessary people involved to force the dealer into honoring the PP program that Ford created for people that were in your situation.

Ill make this short.
I know im not the first either
3 years ago I ordered a 4 door Bronco badlands with hard top, sasquatch package , modular bumper midd package, 2.7 L engine, 10spd trans, eruption green, and marine grade interior. nothing over the top.
Obviously the order had a lot of "constraints" to it.
so it finally shows up at the dealership but it is without the sasquatch package.
ordered what I wanted and for the price of these Broncos and time waiting I want what I ordered.
the dealerships salesman had absolutely zero s**ts to give about it. He told me to take it or leave it, they'll sell it fast. he said it wasn't his fault or problem. He told me he had 3 others going in exactly spec'd like mine was supposed to be but those were already spoken for. He would not communicate with FoMoCo he would not speak with any higher ups at Phil Long Ford.
he would not negotiate anything.
he did say i could order another on after August 14th.
I was / am furious
I waited 3 years for a bronco to show up thats configured like darn near every unsold bronco on a car lot.
So I called FoMoCo customer support and lodged a complaint about it. I figured nothing would happen but got to b**ch to someone about it.
I did learn calling and having the vin# for my build was very helpful. the reps research revealed that
"my Bronco" build was in fact changed to remove the sasquatch package to ensure a build on 9/9/22.
the rep said it could have been the dealership.
regardless the Bronco was built to match the modified build order.
As of 4:43pm 7/21/23 Colorado time a level 2 inquiry has been opened for my complaint.
I was advised to seek out a different dealership.
I doubt anything will come of it.
does anyone have any insight on this kind of situation?
or am I just starting over, buying used( beat), or looking at another brand?
Man that sucks. I am in a similar boat. Ordered in 2021 Badlands, SAS LUX. But unknowing to me when ford demanded reorders with COVP in September the dealership messed up and ordered mine without SAS. Its scheduled to be built next week and I just found out about the no SAS.

The dealer admitted it was their fault and whoever submitted the new order didn’t select SAS and said they would help to make it right. But what can they really do? They have us buyers by the balls. If we don’t take it someone will happily take it.

What a joke this whole process has been. It was about to bemy first Ford purchase. I probably will never buy a Ford again.

I am not familiar with this process at all as I did not order and just bought mine new off the lot.

My question though. If you have price protection didn’t that include the cost of Sasquatch? So shouldn’t you not only get the price protection but also subtract the extras from that cost that they did not provide?

otherwise you could have price protection and they could provide the most basic level to you and just say it was screwed up and then offer you basic at a higher cost that equals out. Just my opinion.

I’m in the take the deal on your Badlands and mod the suspension later if you really need it Group. Don’t think the gearing difference will be a problem.

Maybe push the dealer to put 315s on it.

It seems like, at least at the dealer near me, the ADM days are over. There are still the stupid "security" and "surface protection" features (at 1000 bucks a pop), but no redonkculous crazytown 5k-20k rapings of yore. Here are a few pics of a BD and a Lightning...

The same dealer had marked up the BD I had ordered and later declined about a year ago nearly 20k as soon as it hit the lot. Even worse, when the dealer got their first two line-jumped allocations they sold BOTH for TWICE the MSRP. The times they are a-changin'...

Gearing is not a problem. You will get better gas mileage with the lower numerical ratio (as compared to SAS) regardless of what tires you put on it.

Since you ordered a Badlands, you’re not missing much from the Sasquatch—you still have all the lockers and even a sway bar disco. Take the truck, slap some 35s on it and call it a day.
that’s a better option than a beat or overpriced used Bronco, IMO.
I just got my Bandlands this month and I F*%cking love it.. I too was set on the Sas Package.
But Here is my point of view.
1. Yes it does look kinda of cool to have the sas package, But with BF Goodwhich it rides smooth and is quitet and ni rocks kicking up.. Also, I heard you get $50,000 Miles on the BF's
3. It still looks cool with the Stock Rims
4. I plan on replacing the wheels and tires when they hit 50,000 or in a year or 2..

I would take it

I would have taken it on a rollback, then marked it up and sold it (unless you already were paying a ridiculous price)

I never got the promised phone call. I called FoMoCo this morning.
The short of it is FORD corporate isn't going to give any 'love' to my experience.
I was advised that no more effort would come from Corporate on this matter and the case would be closed today.
