Ill make this short.
I know im not the first either
3 years ago I ordered a 4 door Bronco badlands with hard top, sasquatch package , modular bumper midd package, 2.7 L engine, 10spd trans, eruption green, and marine grade interior. nothing over the top.
Obviously the order had a lot of "constraints" to it.
so it finally shows up at the dealership but it is without the sasquatch package.
ordered what I wanted and for the price of these Broncos and time waiting I want what I ordered.
the dealerships salesman had absolutely zero s**ts to give about it. He told me to take it or leave it, they'll sell it fast. he said it wasn't his fault or problem. He told me he had 3 others going in exactly spec'd like mine was supposed to be but those were already spoken for. He would not communicate with FoMoCo he would not speak with any higher ups at Phil Long Ford.
he would not negotiate anything.
he did say i could order another on after August 14th.
I was / am furious
I waited 3 years for a bronco to show up thats configured like darn near every unsold bronco on a car lot.
So I called FoMoCo customer support and lodged a complaint about it. I figured nothing would happen but got to b**ch to someone about it.
I did learn calling and having the vin# for my build was very helpful. the reps research revealed that
"my Bronco" build was in fact changed to remove the sasquatch package to ensure a build on 9/9/22.
the rep said it could have been the dealership.
regardless the Bronco was built to match the modified build order.
As of 4:43pm 7/21/23 Colorado time a level 2 inquiry has been opened for my complaint.
I was advised to seek out a different dealership.
I doubt anything will come of it.
does anyone have any insight on this kind of situation?
or am I just starting over, buying used( beat), or looking at another brand?
That really sucks. I don't think personally that I would have the patience or inclination to wait for another. I will say this.....I ordered a BB with very little on it other than the towing pkg and the 2.7. If they will sell you the car for the price without the squatch pkg and anything else missing you can always just build it the way you want. I saved thousands doing it that way. Also, my Bronco isn't just like everyone else's.

Something else to consider...the stupid increases and switching out of the packages. The way I ordered my Badlands back during the first wave came out to just under 55. Now, for the exact same build (because the modular bumper is now an add-on), The price jumped to 64. So unless the dealer honors their screw up, which it sounds like they won't, for you to build your build the exact same way you first built it it's got to cost more...

I just did a build and price exactly the same as my original order. It priced out at $63225 compared to the original build price of $55840.
Something of note or interest is, the sasquatch package has a price tag of $5240 to add it onto a Badlands.
On a Outer Banks it is $4950
....and now the old geezer in me likes the Heritage model which I built in a 4door and spec'd as best I could to my original order. It came in at $55015, just for sh**s & giggles.

On the price increase alone it appears as though sticking with what you already have makes the most sense because for even the difference in price of simply buying the newer one you could have bought the wheels you really wanted and then simply bought somebody's take off Sasquatch suspension at a fraction of that price. I might have a different opinion if there's any difference in the transfer case, because from my particular desires I like having the range of what I have...but there might be no difference in the Sasquatch package T-case versus the non Sasquatch. I think if you go up to 35s on yours and don't change the gearing you'd still be okay, but if you ever have thoughts are going to 37's then every little bit of the more gearing you get with the SAS would be more desirable IMHO.
