The Bronco pickup has always been cool but never was a big seller that's why Ford discontinued it in the early Broncos. My 68 Bronco half cab as Ford called them only has about a 4 foot bed. It is a great run around vehicle but it's not a practical substitute for a Ranger or F series truck.

A 2dr with a 4dr wheelbase, 1/2 cab and rear bed would be a kool useable truck…but it probably wouldn’t sell enough to make it worthwhile…

That's a really dumb article. The Maverick already has a Tremor model, which is as far as that platform can be pushed as an off-road version. Their suggestion makes zero sense.

Unless we're talking about a two-door variant.

Just have to put bronco front end on ranger and new box side sheet metal...a T roof would be fun or roll back pano. Will probably just cannibalize Ranger and Maverick sales though seems like another dim idea from Ford product planning who were all probably involved in the $28BN EV fiasco.

Can believe Ford stock price vs stellantis when stallantis actually makes interesting and extremely powerful products with forever payment plans on low fico.
