I go over them fast because the name alone seems like a challenge to me. If they wanted you to go over them slow, they should of named them slow bumps.

Come on, they're called 'Speed Bumps'. Doesn't that mean you're supposed to accelerate into them and try to catch air? Wooo-Hooo!

They're called speed humps for some reason in SC. The sign always makes me laugh

we have a couple in our drive, and the speed limit on site is 5 mph...I don't have much choice.

We also have "road humps" on the road before our property, it's near a school zone and the road speed limit is 35. I see plenty of vehicles slow down for the humps, but the Bronco just straddles them and I go through at 35.

It's no different than if you take them in any vehicle with a functioning suspension. I've never been one to really slow down for speed bumps. I'm generally already going slow enough for the area that has them not to have a problem. I get a kick out of people that stop in front of a speed bump and gently go over it. I've never been one to do that.

Speed bumps have ceased to exist in my world when driving the Bronco. I have to come back to reality when driving my wife's car though!

In the time it took you to write this post, you could have driven over 8726 speed bumps at 35mph.

Unless they are an extreme example of a speed bump I don't slow down for them even if I'm in a Honda Civic. Hate to see people in 4WD vehicles slowing down for them. Even in dually diesel trucks. WTF? Just turn in your man card. NOW.
Have you ever driven an unloaded dually? The rear suspension is rock hard and it bucks like crazy.

Speed humps are like 4' wide. Speed bumps are 1' wide.
