About a month ago I had a small fender bender that cracked the grille and busted the louvered grill shutters. I am repairing it myself.
I found this part loose. Not sure where it came from. The louvers/shutter part # on the sticker is M2DB-16E166-B. When I search it I keep getting the same part # except with a -A instead of -B. @Ducati1098 or @flip or anyone else with knowledge that might help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the little rubber bumper is for.

As far as the shutter part number, I’m guessing it’s actually M2DB-16E166-BB, because that is the engineering number of a previous service part number for the shutters.

It’s been superseded twice since that part number. The current one is P2DZ-16138-A

Thank you sir. I have searched hi and low and can't seem to find where that thing goes. As far as the different part #'s, they should be interchangeable???

Yes they should all be interchangeable.
Any of these part numbers will work:
