I have a 2023 High BL SAS and curious if the collision/parking alarm can be shutoff in 4WD, low range or what exactly is possible?

I know the chiming will be super annoying if off road and driving on 2 tracks, around obstacles, etc if it’s chiming all the time.

I m used to my old 99 Wrangler and no collision avoidance, warnings, etc. That’s the way I like it and hope to be able to “quiet” the Bronco when doing similar 4x4 terrain.
Thx for any help.
(Note, I prefer to not use the GOAT modes and manually select my transfer case gearing, lockers and SBD if possible while still silencing electronics)

Are you having this problem, or speculating it will happen? I’ve never noticed warning chimes when off roading in my Bronco.

There's a button near the AC controls to turn off the parking sensors, I think it's next to the camera button IIRC.

The collision assist can also be turned off in the menus I believe

I've never had this happen. The sensor is way up high on the windshield, not in the bumper, if that makes you feel better.

My collision warning goes off all the time. Mostly when people are turning and I don't apply the brakes, even though I'm a safe distance away.

That happens because the system doesn’t know the car in front of you is turning. It’s normal.

Where’s my Bronco, I think you be probably cleared up my language challenge…. My parking sensors always go off when close to garage door, etc. I ll look for button by AC to disable those. The crash avoidance sensors is not what I m hearing/setting off. I caused some confusion with my explanation !!
Thx

Mine used to. There are three sensitivity settings, I set it to the least aggressive.

Now it only goes off once a month or so. Normally in a left turn with someone turning in front of me.
